  1. I’m a healthcare worker, double vaccinated and tested 3x a week. Do I still need to shell out over 100 notes for a test before my flight? Do kids need to get one too?

  2. Test on the go in Porto, Matosinho cost 25€ acceptable from Ryanair. I’m back UK with this one and another pre booked in UK for 58£. It was 2 days before Portugal go back to the yellow list for UK.

    • Hi Diane, the prices range from €50 to €150 per test. There is not set price that applies across the country.

  3. How difficult is it to obtain a PCR test in Northern Portugal for return to UK please?

    • Hi, it depends on where you are staying. However in general you can receive the test at any time, in one of the hospitals and clinics included in the Portugal Health Passport. The results for the tests may be obtained in 72 hr or less. You can also take the test in one of the laboratories recommended by the National Health Service, a list of which can be found at https://covid19.min-saude.pt/infoadrpcc/. If necessary, you can also take a test at the airport before your departure flight. Information available on the ANA – Aeroportos de Portugal’s website.
